Ado is operated by Paul Mansell, a sole trader based in Orlando, Florida, United States. When this policy refers to "Ado", "we", "us" or "our", it means Paul Mansell trading as Ado.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use getado.io and the Ado web application, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
This policy does not cover third-party websites or services that we may link to. Those services have their own privacy policies.
3. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Your name and email address when you sign up for the waitlist or create an account.
- Your payment information when you subscribe. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Any messages you send to us via email or contact forms.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage data including pages visited, features used, and time spent in the app.
- Your IP address and general location (country or city level).
- Device and browser type.
- Referral source (how you arrived at getado.io).
Information we do not collect
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as health data, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or biometric data. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Ado service.
- Send you your daily content briefing by email.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Respond to your questions or support requests.
- Improve the app based on how it is being used.
- Send occasional product updates or announcements (you can opt out at any time).
We will never sell your personal information to third parties. We will never use your information to send you advertising for other companies' products.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the service you have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to improve our product and prevent fraud.

6. Who We Share Your Data With
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate Ado.
Google (Workspace, Sheets, Gemini API)
Used to deliver the daily briefing email and power the content generation pipeline. Google Privacy Policy
Stripe

Netlify

Make (Integromat)
Used to automate the daily content pipeline. Data processed through Make is used solely to operate the Ado service. Make Privacy Policy
ElevenLabs
Used for AI voiceover generation in AutoChannel content. ElevenLabs Privacy Policy
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except where required by law.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for 90 days in case you return, after which it will be deleted.
Email logs are retained for up to 12 months for operational purposes. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by US tax law.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption on all web traffic, DKIM authentication on all outgoing emails, and restricted access to production systems.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to how we process your data.
- Withdrawal of consent — opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

10. Cookies
getado.io uses only functional cookies necessary to operate the site. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
11. International Data Transfers
Ado is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We use services that provide appropriate safeguards for international transfers where required.
12. Children's Privacy
Ado is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at hello@getado.io and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, notify you by email.
